(in bad English)

This was the first real story I tried to draw up as a comic. Before, my friend Klaus and I would draw short picture stories featuring a character looking a little like the animated inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther cartoons.

I think I started this in my last year of Progymnasium – on my second try, as I hadn’t passed the first time. Boredom, I guess. The coloring came quite a bit later and was done in water color. In a nutshell: bomb goes off at the North Pole, huge amounts of air escape from inside the Earth propelling it erratically out of orbit, the hole is sealed with large amounts of chewing gum which starts growing into a giant bubble, Earth crashes with Mars…. you get the picture. Clearly not very scientific.
