Installation
MacOS:
- If Cinema 4D is running quit it before installation.
- Locate the folder called Cinema 4D R12 (or R15). This is normally found in your system's Applications folder (Finder->Go->Applications)
- Open your Cinema 4D folder. If you are in the correct folder you will see the CINEMA 4D.app file which obviously is the application
- Drag the downloaded file ObjectAligner.zip into the plugins folder and double-click it to expand. This step might require you to enter your administrator password.
- If the .zip file expanded correctly you will now have a folder called ObjectAligner... which contains all files needed by the plugin
- You can now delete the downloaded .zip file and restart Cinema 4D. To check that the plugin installed correctly check that ObjectAligner is listed under the Plugins menu.
Windows:
- If Cinema 4D is running quit it before installation.
- Locate the folder called Cinema 4D R12 (or R15). This is normally found in Program Files/MAXON
- Open your Cinema 4D folder. If you are in the correct folder you will see the CINEMA 4D application file
- Extract ObjectAligner.zip into the plugins folder. This step might require you to enter your administrator password.
- If the .zip file expanded correctly you will now have a folder called ObjectAligner... which contains all files needed by the plugin
- You can now delete the downloaded .zip file and restart Cinema 4D. To check that the plugin installed correctly check that ObjectAligner is listed under the Plugins menu.
