Installation

MacOS:

  1. If Cinema 4D is running quit it before installation.
  2. Locate the folder called Cinema 4D R12 (or R15). This is normally found in your system's Applications folder (Finder->Go->Applications)
  3. Open your Cinema 4D folder. If you are in the correct folder you will see the CINEMA 4D.app file which obviously is the application
  4. Drag the downloaded file ObjectAligner.zip into the plugins folder and double-click it to expand. This step might require you to enter your administrator password.
  5. If the .zip file expanded correctly you will now have a folder called ObjectAligner... which contains all files needed by the plugin
  6. You can now delete the downloaded .zip file and restart Cinema 4D. To check that the plugin installed correctly check that ObjectAligner is listed under the Plugins menu.

Windows:

  1. If Cinema 4D is running quit it before installation.
  2. Locate the folder called Cinema 4D R12 (or R15). This is normally found in Program Files/MAXON
  3. Open your Cinema 4D folder. If you are in the correct folder you will see the CINEMA 4D application file
  4. Extract ObjectAligner.zip into the plugins folder. This step might require you to enter your administrator password.
  5. If the .zip file expanded correctly you will now have a folder called ObjectAligner... which contains all files needed by the plugin
  6. You can now delete the downloaded .zip file and restart Cinema 4D. To check that the plugin installed correctly check that ObjectAligner is listed under the Plugins menu.
